CASEcY is a county designated juvenile early warning and assessment program that allows agencies to search and share information that is compiled from their respective databases. CASEcY provides extensive information sharing of juvenile records from -

  • Human services
  • Law enforcement
  • Juvenile courts
  • Detention centers
  • Liaison officers

CASEcY Provides:

CASEcY provides a medium for key agencies to share information that will allow them to identify juveniles that may be in serious trouble and then provide programs that will assist in preventing juveniles from becoming adult criminals.

Multi-County Interaction:

CASEcY allows neighboring county agencies to participate on a more broad regional basis by

  • Assisting agencies in working with multi-jurisdictional issues
  • Addressing issues of divorced parents who may be living in separate counties and under court orders and/or restrictions
  • Tying together law enforcement issues across several counties providing a more broad picture of the seriousness of juvenile crime and domestic violence issues./li>

CASEcY Information is updated and automatically uploaded to a central storage facility daily. The program provides a web portal to all participating agencies for search and selection. Security and data access is provided through a 48 level security matrix. It ensures that only those individuals within an agency who have the legal right to view certain information can have access.
